Where transitional meets traditional. Where North meets South. This Captain’s Island custom new build was built for a lovely family who hailed from the Northeast. The homeowner always felt inspired by her Northern preppy and collegiate roots; however, when she moved down south, she was eager to reinvent her style for the next phase of her and her family’s life. The homeowner sought out JLV Creative’s support to help her fuse the ideal blend of the two styles. The JLV team worked hand in hand with the build team at Novella Homes to add architectural details from custom millwork to interesting ceiling details that felt like the perfect blend of modern yet preppy.
